Dash and his first day in his new foster home

Dash had a greyt day today he got to meet 4 new friends and hang out in the yard in the sun. So far he has been the perfect gentleman! He slept all night in his crate and never made a single sound. He is getting along with everyone very well and seems to have no preferance as far as which human to follow.

Playmate Needed...

Dash loves to play outside. He loves the ball or a stuffy as you can see. He's so graceful when he tosses it up in the air and runs for it. You need to see it!

Precious Pup

Dash, as he's fondly called, is the sweetest boy ever! He is so soft and silky and great on a leash. He's a happy,calm boy with fantastic looks. What a love. He'll make someone a wonderful companion.

Scruba dub dub

It's been a little rainy hear in Atlanta and that means mud. Dash loves kicking up his paws and going for a quick sprint around the yard and in doing so sometimes becomes filthy. Like most greyhounds he doesn't love the bath but in true form he lets me manhandle him and is relatively easy to get clean for a big dog. Overall I would give him an A as a grade for bath time.

Also worth mentioning, he does NOT have thunder phobia. We had a bad storm come through the area in the middle of the night. Lightning struck very close to the house. It scared me to death especially while in a deep sleep but not Dash. He was content being inside and sleeping on his bed. He woke up for a minute (the whole house did) but he went right back to sleep. With all the storms we get this is very good news.



Dash is thinking, "I am not happy about this."

Loyal boy

I am amazed at how trusting and loyal Dash is to my husband and I. He always wants to keep an eye on us. I swear if someone was to come into his foster home unwelcome he would teach them a lesson or two. He is not aggressive at all but I know if it came down to it he would protect those he loves.

He is so loving and calm. We have had the pleasure of fostering him in our home for six weeks and he has not had a single accident. He has been a very good and at times a very silly boy. He is still looking for his forever home and someone to be loyal to for the rest of his life. He is happy just being with his humans and doesn't need a lot of attention. Just look at his face, how could you not love this boy?

Hi, I'm Dash and I love people. No seriously, if you have hand and want to use it to pet me I am your new best friend. I love it at my foster home but I am ready to find a home and human(s) to call my own.
